Downtown Frankfort has a number of local restaurants and unique shops. The next time you're in town, try out local restaurants like Buddy's Pizza, Gibby's sandwich shop, the Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe or Serafini's upscale restaurant. Shopping is easy to find with a Rebecca Ruth chocolate shop, Capital Cellars wine shop, Poor Richard's independent bookstore, Completely Kentucky and Celtic Sea Irish Shop. All of these restaurants and shops are located in the downtown area near the Old Capitol, the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History and the Capital City Museum.
